Welcome to MashpeeTV, the home of Community, Educational and Government access television for the Mashpee Community. Local access television is produced and broadcast by Mashpee Community Media Center, Inc., a nonprofit entity which operates as MashpeeTV.
MashpeeTV is broadcasting over three cable channels:
- Channel 99 – MashpeeTV – Public Access
- Channel 18 – The Government Channel
- Channel 22 – Mashpee Public Schools TV
MashpeeTV is a nonprofit, Mashpee-based organization dedicated to providing our community with a platform for opinions, news and local information not generally available from commercial or public media. MashpeeTV showcases programming produced or sponsored by Mashpee community members by giving them a medium for their vision and ideas to be cablecast. It also serves as an electronic forum for free expression.
The Government Channel is a medium to provide a source of unbiased information with gavel-to-gavel meeting coverage of several municipal boards and committees. In addition, we work collaboratively with municipal, county and state governments to cablecast programs which focus on important issues that affect our town.
Be part of the show! If you have something to share, a story to tell, an event to document, or you just want to learn how television works, join us at MashpeeTV. MashpeeTV offers training to community members who are interested in learning to produce and edit programming.
It’s easy to become a MashpeeTV member. Any Mashpee resident, nonprofit organization or business can join MashpeeTV for a small, annual membership fee. Once you’ve signed up, you will be eligible to take any classes or workshops offered by MashpeeTV, use any equipment and editing facilities, and book the Conference Room or Studio; most free of charge with your membership.
